The next big thing.

Life with the Lord is always an adventure!  I think we should think about taking the word “settled” out of the Christianese vocabulary…

Sunday I leave for the busy metropolis know as Ocala, Fl.  My fried Chad and his wife Ashley are going on vacation for a week and so I’ll be crashing at their pad for the week taking care of their dog Webster.  I’ve known Webster since he was born and Chad even longer.  I’m moving in with a guy named Travis, which is such a blessing to have someone help with rent right away.  Pray that God provides a cheap, solid place to live as soon as possible.  I’ll also be spending the majority of the week looking for a job.  I will not be picky, I’m just going to take what I can get initially to have some funds rolling in.  Thank you for your prayers in advance.

I’m really excited about this move, although my heart is quite sad.  Atlanta has been a time when I have had some of the greatest and closest and most encouraging friends of my life.  I will miss them all greatly.  A handful of them came over last night for a going away potluck and we had so much fun.  I think we played Catch Phrase for two hours…literally.  It just added to the many amazing memories that have been made through this phase of my life.  Every one of my friends here have made a huge investment into who I am, and who I will be.  So, for that, I say “thank you”.

I trust in the Lord with all my heart that he will fill in the gaps of community I am leaving behind.  Pray that I meet some strong brothers and sisters in the Lord that I can team up with.  I know that God has never let me down, and I know He never will.  That is a promise.

Again, I cannot say “thank you” enough for such an amazing 4.6 years, I am a better man because of all you Atlantans.  Here is what I hope for you, it is the same blessing Moses and Aaron gave to the people of Israel so many years ago:

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. – Numbers 6:24-26

He then  finishes with this promise:

So they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I WILL BLESS THEM.

That is my prayer for you all.  That the Lord may bless you all, as you have blessed me.
